Can Your Office Use a Little Organizing?
EVALUATE YOUR SPACE
Determine what you use or don't use on a daily basis in your office. Those items you use often should be positioned so you can easily get to them. You may also do what I have done. Those things I never use, throw them away or donate to charity. About all, move things out of the way to avoid bumping in to them. This chore is similar to clearing and moving icons on your computer desktop that you seldom use and putting them in a folder; out of sight, ot of mind. Consider your furnishings making sure they are not too large for the room size. Determine the furniture arrangement and what style is best for you; the L-shape, U-shape and the parallel layout. get a good adjustable chair so you can swivel and roll across the floor easily.
Martha Belden offers a few quick organization tips:
- Get in the habit of putting things back in their proper places immediately.
- Plan activities on a calendar and make to-do lists.
- Limit the number of hanging file folders yhou use.
- Designate a place for newspapers and periodicals
- Stacking trays are good for organizing paperwork. Take time daily to clear your "in" tray and put papers in your "out" tray.
I will also add that with my 5LINX business as an Essential Services Broker, my Laptop, Tablet, or Pad, eliminate most of the paper work. Business ownership with 5LINX, offers two websites; one for products and services completely ready to serve customers and a virtual office with complete accounting and tracking of my business. Either way, Happy Organizing!

Send a text message and the whole world could get it. News, good or bad, shows up on your Mobile Phone via Social Media. Everyone is delivering the news these days. This is one of the major reasons businesses should not be slow in integrating Mobile Marketing into their advertising budget.
Why Mobile Marketing Works: It works because it is the fastest-growing method of business communication. It is the #1 communication tool. By 2014 it is estimated that 85% of businesses will be utilizing some sort of text marketing to promote their business and increase sales.
Knowledge is Power:
90% of commercial emails are never opened.
97% of text messages are opened and read.
112 million consumers actively text message in the U.S. and Canada
15% of the 350 billion text messages sent monthly are for marketing purposes.
Here is how one form of Mobile Marketing works - TextAlertz
Let's say you own a restaurant. It is a rainy Monday afternoon and the tables are virtually empty. The prospects for that evening's dinner crowd are not looking good. But you have TextAlertz, so you send out this message to your special VIP list: "Rainy Day Special at Cathy's Diner. Show this message for 15% off yhour meal. Tonight Only. Bon Apetit!" You schedule your message for 6:00 pm when everyone is getting off work, and by 6:02 pm hundreds of your best customers have seen your offer and are considering changing their plans for dinner that night. Your rainy night is salvaged when douzens of customers come in and present the coupon they received on their cell phone.
Try It! Use any of the following key words and text it to 55469: Key words: Barber, Carwash, Church, Club College, Comedy Daycare, Lawncare, Pizza, Radio, Retail
Businesses can not afford not to use this new technology.
